Letter from Recruitment Chair
Welcome to the University of California at Riverside!
As the recruitment chair, I am so humbled to represent the amazing women in our chapter at UCR.
Recruitment is one of the best times of the year, because no matter what sorority you join, you meet people that will forever change your life. Becoming a member of Delta Gamma has opened the door to new friendships, community involvement, leadership responsibilities, scholarship, and a network of contacts. Recruitment gives us the opportunity to share the values and characteristics that constitute the life of a Delta Gamma and show you exactly why this organization means so much to us.
Throughout your time here at UCR, you will have countless memories and grow tremendously through the ups and downs. Delta Gamma has provided me with a never failing support system as well as the best memories of my college years. My sisters truly embody the definition of being leading women. I am surrounded by women who are incredibly driven and resilient, yet so kind and compassionate. They inspire me to be the best person I can be each and everyday. We are committed to the high standards of excellence as set by our founders in 1873. We pride ourselves in our accomplishments in academics, philanthropy, and campus involvement.
The recruitment process is an amazing opportunity to find a home that will encourage, accept, and provide you with unconditional love, like I found in Delta Gamma. I sincerely welcome you to join the journey!
I know that recruitment can be an intimidating process; if I can be of any assistance to you during this experience please do not hesitate to email me with any questions. I am here to help navigate through this world of Greek Life and help you find the place where you belong.
I speak not only for myself, but on behalf of the entire Zeta Lambda chapter when I say, we cannot wait to meet you this Fall.
Love,
Valeria Rodriguez
